Job Description Summary
: The Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences invites applicants for the positions of Lecturer and Special Lecturer to instruct courses in the Interdisciplinary Healthcare Systems master’s program, including HS 5100 – Evidence-based Decision Making and Research in Healthcare (4 credits).
This class is planned to be an evening course in Fall 2025, with days and times to be determined.
The course description for HS 5100 is: “This course covers principles of Evidence-Based Practice, including how to search databases, evaluate study strengths and weaknesses, and how to grade the evidence.
Students will integrate findings from research literature and professional consensus statements to improve patient care.”
This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the 2025-2026 academic year.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree, but doctorate degree is preferred, in a discipline relevant to the course(s) taught.
Preference for candidates who are healthcare clinicians with experience incorporating evidence-based guidelines into practice.
