The Digital Modernization Sector is uniting our digital transformation and IT programs to better serve our clients through enhanced scale and repeatability.

The NISC IV program at Leidos is looking for a Program Analyst!

This role supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Visual Weather Observation Program (VWOS) team within the National Air-Space Implementation Support Contract (NISC).

The VWOS team collaborates closely with the Program Manager to provide program and fiscal management, helping implement and operate the FAA VWOS system network while also addressing Real Estate Leasing requirements.

The weather camera program comprises hundreds of camera sites with thousands of cameras accessible via our cloud-based web application.

The program is responsible for installing Visual Weather Observation Systems (VWOS) across Alaska to fulfill congressional mandates.

We seek a program analyst with strong computer application skills and a passion for supporting financial and real estate operations for the FAA Weather Camera Program.

The ideal candidate will enjoy problem-solving with a customer success focus and have experience in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and SharePoint.

A background in basic budgeting, financial record keeping, financial contract auditing, and real estate leasing is valued.

Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, track, report, and maintain project activities associated with obligating funds.

  • Support the analyst team in ensuring the quality, standardization, and tracking of all associated financial transactions and budgets.

  • Collaborate with Federal Government clients to identify program needs and track milestones.

  • Assist the FAA Program Manager with implementation challenges and facilitate communications with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

  • Support budget planning and formulation, financial reporting and reconciliation, and contract funding coordination.

  • Work with engineering and leasing teams to facilitate lease executions.

  • Communicate with lessors to gather information and address concerns.

  • Engage with the Weather Camera budget team on utility contracts and project tracking.

Onsite work is required in Anchorage, AK.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and data aggregation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to conduct organized data gathering and analysis.

  • Independently manage tasks while maintaining positive client relationships.

  • Eligibility for Public Trust Security Clearance.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with the FAA is preferred but not required.

  • Strong skills in MS Excel and Office applications.

  • Knowledge or experience in contract management or real estate is beneficial.

  • Organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn new processes.

  • Ability to effectively research and provide factual recommendations.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between mid $60,000 and low/mid $70,000, encompassing various factors such as relevant experience and skills.
