Job description

Overview

Join our dynamic team in Aurora, CO, or Arvada, CO as a Level 2 Machinist! We are also open to considering Level 3 candidates who are eager to take their skills to the next level.

In this role, you will be working with state-of-the-art CNC machinery and software to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills (3-4 axis and 5+ axis VMC) to produce precision parts.


  • Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accuracy and quality in all machined components.


  • Program CNC machines using G-Code and CAM software, including Mastercam


  • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC tooling and machinery.


  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize machining processes.


  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.


  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a machinist, with a strong focus on CNC operations.

  • Proficiency in GD&T, CNC tooling, and CNC programming.

  • Hands-on experience with CNC mills (3-4 axis and 5+ axis VMC).

  • Familiarity with CAM software, particularly Mastercam and Autodesk Fusion 360.

  • Strong understanding of G-Code and its application in CNC programming.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must pass a background check IAW ITAR and AS9100 standards
