*This is an open and continuous posting for Full-Time and Part-Time positions on multiple shifts throughout the Central/Western Region of DDS.* The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) seeks compassionate nursing professionals to apply for our *LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE I (LPN I) *positions.

This is an excellent entry level nursing opportunity for potential candidates who are interested in furthering their career and broadening their nursing experience to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The LPN I is the first level in the series and candidates will deliver care to our individuals living in a community residential home setting.

Our LPNs are an extremely important part of our team, developing relationships and working with, not only our individuals, but family members, significant others, provider agencies and other appropriate parties in order to improve the overall health/quality of living for those supported by the agency.

Salary placement is determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s years of directly related experience and education, and alignment with our internal compensation structure as set forth by the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines.

For all bargaining unit positions (non-management), compensation is subject to the salary provisions outlined in the applicable collective bargaining agreement and will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range.
