This is an open and continuous posting for full-time and part-time positions on multiple shifts serving the Group Homes throughout the Metro Region of DDS.
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) seeks a caring and compassionate applicant for the role of Licensed Practical Nurse II (LPN II) who is committed to building meaningful relationships in order to provide outstanding care and service.
The LPN II participates in the delivery of health care services and other support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in homes in the community.
This candidate works to promote good health, prevention of illness, and support individuals to maximize their independence and become active members of their communities.
LPN II works closely with direct support staff and are considered a part of coverage.
The candidate also monitors Medication Administration and completes necessary documentation as requested.
Please Note: Based on assignment, candidates may be eligible for various pay differentials.

Depending on assignment, some LPN positions may be assigned to locations that require 24/7 nursing staff.
The Department of Developmental Services requires employees in these positions to be able to perform mandatory overtime when circumstances dictate the need.
This position is designated as an EMERGENCY position in the Department of Developmental Services Emergency Plan.
This means that whenever the Governor declares that the Commonwealth is in a state of emergency, you will be required to report to work.
All employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis and must have direct deposit.
