Who You Are

Justworks is seeking an experienced, motivated and results-oriented Lifecycle Marketing Manager to work as part of a dynamic and performance-driven Lifecycle Marketing team.

The Lifecycle Marketing team is responsible for driving net-new customer conversions, cross-sell and up-sell within the Justworks product suite, and engagement across the prospect and customer journey.

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will lead the strategy and execution of customer acquisition lifecycle marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on utilizing email marketing to drive conversions and opportunities down funnel.

The ideal candidate is a creative and data-driven marketer who has a passion for building relationships, problem-solving and leveraging automation/CRM tools to nurture, nudge, & convert leads to drive revenue.

You’ll partner closely with the Product-Led Growth, Business Operations, Sales, & Product Marketing teams to develop campaigns, as well as the channel managers across the Marketing function.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, CRM & Lifecycle Marketing.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Develop, manage and track customer-centric email marketing campaigns that deliver relevant, timely and impactful conversion experiences for leads; including but not limited to creative content strategy, testing, segmentation, deployment, optimization, monitoring, reporting and analysis.

  • Work with the CRM team to manage execution and roll out of new triggers, automation and personalization tactics to drive product conversion; conduct A/B tests to improve email KPIs.
  • Support ad-hoc marketing campaigns as the lifecycle marketing expert to drive revenue generation, product adoption and brand awareness.
  • Stay current on email best practices and industry standards; make recommendations continuously to improve our email templates, personalization and advanced features to deliver on KPIs.
  • Continuously identify and implement strategies to grow and nurture our contact database, improve email KPIs, and actively manage our contact list health via marketing automation platform (customer.io).
  • Perform other duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs, including drafting/editing, designing, QAing, sending emails and executing occasional HTML coding.

  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment working in lifecycle or email marketing/CRM
  • Demonstrated success in building, managing and scaling high performing email campaigns with a strong focus on conversion within a major email marketing automation software (customer.io, Marketo, Pardot/Marketing Cloud Engagement, Hubspot or similar platform) at a PLG-driven company 
  • Passionate about using customer-centric content to craft email marketing journeys with a knack for copywriting & proofreading
  • Highly analytical and data-driven with the ability to surface meaningful insights from large data sets
  • Excellent communication, project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • Entrepreneurial, with the ability to foster alignment, partnership, and collaboration across teams
  • A creative problem-solver who loves to roll up their sleeves and get things done
  • Analyze competitive marketplace and stay abreast of industry trends as well as opportunities to innovate.
  • Strong point of view on lifecycle marketing best practices, including contact strategies, designing A/B testing, customer segmentation and analytics
  • Ability to edit HTML & CSS email templates
  • Solid understanding of email fundamentals: CAN-SPAM compliance, list management, deliverability, segmentation, KPIs
  • Experience in Google Analytics, Excel, SQL, Tableau, preferred, bonus points for Stensul knowledge

    The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $122,000.00 to $134,200.00 per year.

    Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.

    Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
