About the Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll be part of a high-impact team responsible for the reliability, performance, and security of AIX and Linux systems in a 24/7 production environment.
You’ll work across infrastructure and application teams to support mission-critical systems and drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize AIX and Linux server environments to ensure high availability and scalability
Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across hardware, OS, and network layers
Implement monitoring solutions to proactively detect and address performance bottlenecks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and manage system configurations
Automate routine tasks using shell scripting and configuration management tools
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for infrastructure and application support
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on experience with AIX and/or Linux system administration
Proficiency with monitoring tools like Nagios, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with incident management workflows
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with virtualization platforms (., PowerVM, VMware)
Knowledge of storage and backup systems in Unix/Linux environments
Background in fintech or supporting financial applications
Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards
