Research and implement methods to enhance the security of Linux builds within a secure build environment and integrate these improvements with existing automation workflows to ensure seamless and robust deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement enhancements to the existing secure build process.
· Integrate the enhancement with current automation tools and pipelines.
· Collaborate with team members to document processes and share findings.
Skills & Qualifications
+ Foundational knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., comfortable with command-line, file systems, and basic administration tasks
· Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Bash, Python, or similar)
· Basic knowledge of security principles (such as secure coding practices, authentication, or access controls)
· Exposure to automation and CI/CD pipelines (experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is beneficial)
· Experience with Docker or container technologies
· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
· Previous coursework or project experience related to cybersecurity or DevOps
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $46.00/hr.
