<p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Title: LMSW Intake - Adult Behavioral Health</b></p> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Location: Southgate, MI</b></p> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Salary: $26.68 - 35.91 (Based on licensure & experience; incentive pay available) with full benefits!</b></p> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM</b></p> <div align="center" style="text-align:center; margin-bottom:11px"> </div> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Position Overview</b></p> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>The Intake Therapist is responsible for providing a welcoming and comprehensive clinical assessment experience for individuals seeking behavioral health services.

This role involves working with children, adolescents, and adults to determine service eligibility, identify treatment needs and preferences, and connect clients to appropriate internal or community-based services.

Services are primarily delivered in-office, through scheduled or walk-in appointments.</b></p> <div align="center" style="text-align:center; margin-bottom:11px"> </div> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Responsibilities</b></p> <ul> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Conduct intake assessments and complete documentation within 48 hours.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Gather information from consumers, family members, prior records, and other relevant sources.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to identify needs and readiness for change.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Provide clients and families with information on available support and treatment options.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Initiate person-centered planning consistent with Medicaid guidelines and clinical standards.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Develop and implement individualized safety plans when necessary.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Refer clients for further evaluations or to additional services as needed.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Promote and coordinate group and support service participation.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and case notes.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Uphold ethical, professional, and cultural competency standards.</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Maintain active state licensure and complete 25 hours of role-specific training annually.</li> </ul> <div align="center" style="text-align:center; margin-bottom:11px"> </div> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Compensation & Benefits</b></p> <ul> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">401(k) with company match</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Generous PTO and paid holidays (including Christmas Eve, Black Friday, and Juneteenth)</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Paid training and licensure assistance</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Flexible scheduling and supportive work environment</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Mileage reimbursement at IRS rate</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li> </ul> <div align="center" style="text-align:center; margin-bottom:11px"> </div> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Requirements</b></p> <ul> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling Required</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Active Michigan license: LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, or LLP Required</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">At least 1 year post-Master's experience working with adults with severe mental illness Required</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Must qualify for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and QIDP credentials within 120 days of hire</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Must possess CAADC or be on an active, approved MCBAP Development Plan within 6 weeks of hire</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Strong ability to develop therapeutic relationships with diverse populations</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Effective communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Demonstrated cultural competence and nonjudgmental approach</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">U.S. Work Authorization required No visa sponsorships</li> </ul> <div align="center" style="text-align:center; margin-bottom:11px"> </div> <p style="margin-bottom:11px"><b>Additional Information</b></p> <ul> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Travel: Personal vehicle travel required; reimbursed at IRS rate</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Work Hours: Full-time must provide 23 billable hours per week and offer some evening availability (at least 4 hours after 5 PM)</li> <li style="margin-bottom:11px">Training: Employee must complete 24 hours annually of youth- or adolescent-specific continuing education.</li> </ul>
