Job description

Position: Glass Unloader/Loader/Crane Operator

Location: 2940 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71118

Schedule: Monday through Friday - Full-Time, 40/hours

Pay: Starting at $14 - $15/hour (Depending on Experience) with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change

Glaz-Tech Industries is a wholesale manufacturer and supplier of residential, commercial, & specialty glass with locations across 7 states.

We offer the broadest product line in the flat glass industry including low-e products, laminated glass, tempered safety glass, tinted glass, reflective glass, and specializes in the manufacture of thermal efficient insulated glass units (Dual Pane Units).

Summary

Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of a Loader and Crane Operator.

We are looking for a responsible, adaptable and self–driven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry.

The job functions include handling, packaging and loading/unloading glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows, shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc.

Responsibilities may include:


+ Utilize the appropriate handling equipment to move panes and/or pallets

+ Organizing window panes onto transportation or storage racks.

+ Loading completed product onto glass trucks for delivery.


Requirements:


+ Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds

+ Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8”

+ Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day.

+ Ability to complete simple computer task.

+ Ability to communicate in English

+ Background Check/Drug Screen


Qualifications:


+ Must be 18 years or older

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Authorized to work in the US
