**Job Description:**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Electrical Engineer of all levels** to join our team! In this role you will get to **oversee the production of design deliverables for exciting and complex engineering projects** .

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Function as discipline lead engineer on medium to large projects, assuming responsibility for the work of the group.
+ Plan, direct, and supervise the work of a major engineering project requiring a large-scale expenditure of manpower and financial investment.
+ Leads other Engineers and design personnel in technical excellence and growth in the Quality Improvement Process.
+ Mentors junior engineers and designers.
+ Provides technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
+ Ensures compliance of design with all applicable codes and regulations, providing the professional engineering seal and signature when required by statute or contract.
+ Prepares material/equipment specifications and purchase requisitions; reviews supplier data; witnesses shop tests, assists with assessing supplier manufacturing capabilities.
+ Conducts surveys, studies, and site investigations.
+ Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
+ Helps determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.

May assist with other administrative and technical duties.
+ Recommends and prepares technical papers.
+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ 12+ years of related electrical engineering experience on commercial and industrial multi-use buildings
+ BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
+ Working knowledge of NFPA 70
+ Good communication skills are needed, this position will interact with the client
+ The ability to lead an electrical engineering team in the execution of complex infrastructure projects
+ Experience producing design documents for industrial and commercial facilities including Drawings and Specifications
+ Experience producing calculations required for electrical distribution designs including: Load analysis, Short circuit calculations, Voltage drop calculations, Arc flash calculations, Coordination studies, Lightning protection design analysis, Ground resistance models
+ PE registration is required
+ US citizen or green card holder

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Design-build experience is a plus

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
