LucidLink is a fast-growing startup on a mission to make data instantly and securely accessible from everywhere.

As remote and hybrid work has become the new normal, our cloud-based technology enables teams to instantly access files and collaborate from anywhere in a familiar format that works like a local hard drive.

LucidLink’s solution is designed for workflows involving huge files, massive data sets and real-time collaboration.

Our customers include the world’s most creative companies like Paramount, Warner Brothers, Epic Games, Spotify, A+E and Netflix.

We were founded in 2016 by storage industry experts and support over one billion customer files across more than 40+ countries.

LucidLink is headquartered in San Francisco, California, has an engineering office in Sofia, Bulgaria, and remote employees across North America, Europe, and Australia.

Reasons to join LucidLink:

  • Tackle big challenges: You’ll have the chance to solve complex, high-stakes problems that redefine how teams collaborate globally.

By starting with the Media & Entertainment industry and expanding into data-intensive sectors, you’ll gain deep insight into cutting-edge technologies and play a role in shaping the future of global workflows.

You’ll experience the adrenaline of startup speed combined with the satisfaction of building something truly impactful.

  • Immediate impact: At LucidLink, your work will matter—immediately.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit team of 170+ builders working at startup speed, where your ideas and actions will create tangible, exponential results that contribute to our collective success.

  • Comprehensive benefits: We believe in investing in our people.

With unlimited PTO, a competitive salary, stock options, and full health coverage, you’ll feel supported both professionally and personally while enjoying a strong work-life balance.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with deep expertise in user research and product design to shape experiences that truly resonate with users.

In this role, you’ll drive both discovery and delivery — conducting research, validating ideas, and designing thoughtful, scalable interfaces for web and mobile platforms.

You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive experiences that solve real business and user problems.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the strategy, vision, and craft of a product with no true equivalent — and to do so alongside a team of talented, humble, and user-obsessed designers.

What You'll Do

  • Lead qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives to identify insights, validate hypotheses, and shape product direction

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define product goals and translate them into intuitive, elegant user experiences

  • Design and deliver user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes across platforms (web, iOS, Android)

  • Own and evolve the design process, from problem framing and discovery to execution and delivery

  • Influence strategic decisions with user insights, advocating for experience quality and long-term design value

  • Establish, maintain, and contribute to our design system and ensure brand and interaction consistency

  • Mentor and support other designers in applying user-centered practices and elevating design quality

  • Communicate design decisions clearly through storytelling, rationale, and research evidence

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in product design, with a strong focus on user research

  • Deep understanding of UX research methodologies, usability testing, and data interpretation

  • Strong systems thinking and ability to distill complexity into simple, intuitive experiences

  • Proven track record designing cross-platform interfaces (web + native mobile: iOS/Android)

  • Experience designing for SaaS or B2B digital products is highly preferred

  • Excellent communication skills — able to influence decisions and align teams around user needs

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

You’ll Thrive Here If You Are…

  • Proactive, curious, and always looking to improve both products and processes

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments

  • Detail-oriented but flexible — knowing when to push pixels and when to move fast

  • A strong team player who shares knowledge, gives and receives feedback gracefully

  • Motivated by real user impact rather than just clean visuals

  • A lifelong learner who thrives on tackling complex problems

Show Us Your Craft

  • Please share a portfolio with detailed case studies that walk us through your process from insight to execution

  • Selected candidates will be invited to present their thinking through a hypothetical design challenge
