What You’ll Do
Perform accurate material take-offs for framing lumber, sheathing, and related building components using architectural and structural drawings.
Collaborate with procurement teams to finalize costs and create competitive bids.
Work closely with design, sales, and field teams to ensure project accuracy and seamless delivery.
Utilize estimating software such as PlanSwift, Trade Tek, or similar tools to streamline your process.
Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and project details.
What You Bring
3+ years of experience as a Lumber Estimator or similar role.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
In-depth knowledge of wood construction methods, codes, and materials.
Excellent math skills and a sharp attention to detail.
Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
