Job Summary:
The CMFB/FBC operator is a skilled position with CNC and vision systems.
The CMFB/FBC Operator can perform set up, minor mechanical adjustments and operation of all equipment in their assigned area.
Responsible for the machine up keeping and ensuring that all process are adhered to which ensures quality good product being produced.
The CMFB/FBC operator assist the Manager, Supervisor and Shift Lead as needed with setting up the production run and throughout the shift ensuring daily KPI targets are met.
Job Duties:
Verifies set up and correct machine parameter is used at the beginning of shift and make adjustments according to job specifications to ensure proper working orderOpen up existing vision files required to process the product assigned (ATS & Bump inspection).Open up new and/or modify current existing CNC files required to process the product assignedModify machine parameter whenever required.Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum performanceTroubleshoot problems during machine operation and resolve process issues, partner with Machine Lead as needed Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried outPerform safety checks on every machinePerform audits and quality checksEnsure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on outputEnsure stocks of needed consumables materials are ready and available at all timesCreate and maintain activity logsProvide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors/lead handsPerform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictatesFrom time to time might be required to operate a machine when the need arises.
Accountabilities:
Reports to the Shift Lead and receives direction from the Shift Lead /SupervisorAssists in Machine Set Up according to job specifications to ensure quality production runConduct periodic quality tests to ensure quality of production runsConduct periodic inspection on calibration of equipment being used to ensure accuracyResponsible for quality of finished work on the shiftResponsible in ensuring that correct vision and CNC files are being utilized during production Responsible in ensuring that the vision system is active for both ATS and Flexible Bump during production run for all machines.Works to achieve attainment of departmental goalsFollows established safety and environmental complianceGeneral maintenance and performance of the department

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, technical trade school training is preferredMinimum 3-5 years of experience in similar manufacturing roleCNC experience preferred High level of proficiency on all department equipmentGood attendance habitsAbility to comprehend and translate written work instructions to be able to execute process and procedures.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to perform multiple tasks in a time sensitive, deadline driven environment Understanding of quality processes and proceduresBasic computer skillsUnderstanding the influences of the vision system.
