The CAT5 Machine Operator offers various advancement opportunities and the ability to go to a full-time status as early as 90 days!
Responsibilities:- Operate each job in the department according to established procedures.
- Follow written and oral instructions from department leaders.
- Maintaining high level of housekeeping and cleanliness, keeping a safe working environment.
- Ensure 1st quality product is being produced at all times
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment (lubricating, cleaning, tightening, etc.).
- Perform scheduled cleans on equipment and area
- Monitoring and analyzing process parameters to ensure machines are performing to specification.
- Transport fabric and material from one area to the next using different types of material handling equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:- Must have awareness of PC hardware components, desktop operation system software and application software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve opportunities.
- Able to interact effectively with management, staff, vendors, customers, and work independently, and/or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and be capable of using motorized equipment (fork trucks, tuggers, etc.).
- Must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions.
- Must be self-driven.
- Ability to read and write and follow directions.
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Good communication skills.
- Strong discipline.
Shift Schedule: Rotating Shift
Pay Rate: $18.83/Hour
