## **Who are we looking for?**





The Machinist will Analyze specifications, lay out and perform all bench
and machine operations to construct, alter, and repair tools and dies
requiring skill and a basic knowledge of tooling practice and
application.

They will use required precision instruments for exacting
measurements.









## **What will you be doing?**





The machinist will fabricate tools, dies, or assemblies, one must begin
by studying blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan the
sequence of operations.

This involves visualizing and computing
dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of assemblies based on the
provided specifications.

The process includes setting up and operating
conventional or computer numerically controlled machine toolssuch as
lathes, milling machines, and grindersto shape parts to prescribed
dimensions and finishes.

Once fabrication is complete, dimensions,
alignments, and clearances of finished parts are verified for
conformance using measuring instruments like calipers, gauge blocks,
micrometers, and dial indicators.

Test runs are conducted with complete
tools or dies to ensure parts meet specifications, with adjustments made
as necessary.

Additionally, collaboration with Production and
Engineering teams is essential to help set up dies and reduce setup time
on the production floor.
