Maintenance Reliability Engineer assigned project(s), which will improve performance in the areas of optimizing overall equipment reliability and performanceWill learn advanced predictive maintenance technologies and methodologies tied to the project(s) that they are assigned, such as vibration analysis, ultrasound, lubrication, infrared thermography, etc.Will provide engineering studies and analysis of reliability and performance data to gain insights into potential issues and failure modes through the application of reliability-centered maintenance techniques, ensuring a proactive approach to maintenanceMay keep historical data to analyze and monitor key parameters to assist with continuous improvement initiatives, cost savings measures, optimization of asset lifecycles, downtime reduction, and asset reliability managementWhat You’ll Need:
Education:
Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial).
Sophomore or Junior level class standing preferred Experience:
No previous experience is requiredA results-based, goal-focused mindset with a natural curiosity, demonstrated by extracurricular involvement in clubs or communityLeadership and/or work experience to supplement strong student achievementYour Profile:
Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skillsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to collaborate in a team environment and engage with diverse stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically data analysis tools, such as ExcelDemonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionFlexibility and adaptability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectivelyWork Environment
This role spends approximately 50% of the time in an office environment and 50% of the time in the lab/plant environmentPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an hourly position, M-F.
