The ProMedica Finnegan Family Autism Center houses the Autism Early Learning Program (AELP) which offers early intensive behavioral intervention services for children diagnosed with Autism from the age of diagnosis through 6 years old.
The program operates year-around with options for full day and partial day services with 1:1 ratios and options for small group as appropriate.
Intervention utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and focuses on addressing skills in the areas of communication/language, play, socialization, behavior, and adaptive skills.
Position Summary:
The Manager of Autism Programming and Services directs and oversees all programs and services for children with autism offered through the hospital.
They will supervise all program behavior analysts, behavior technicians and supportive staff.
They will ensure the fidelity of applied behavior analysis (ABA) intervention at the center, home, and school-based service programs and plans for growth and expansion as appropriate.
They will oversee and are responsible for financial and advocacy obligations, and they will act as a liaison to all local and national agencies in the field and ensures appropriate resources are available to the community.

Must be able to move about department and between workstations, and prolonged periods of standing.
Must be able to frequently move, lift or carry light to heavy patients or equipment.
Must be able to lift medium materials, non-material handling; continuous standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching; frequent pushing, pulling, and squatting.
