Position Description for MUSC Health Manager of Grants Administration
Position Description (Job Purpose)
MUSC Health and Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Manager of Grants Administration to support the development and implementation of new grant infrastructure initiatives for the health system.
This role presents a unique opportunity to support impactful research and grant initiatives for MUSC Health and the Regional Health Network (RHN) in collaboration with the university research administration and research support services.
The position reports to the MUSC Health Director of Grants and Research.
This position will have the primary responsibilities of compliance and pre/post-award administration of MUHA’s sponsored research grants and contracts.
Additionally, the position will work directly with representatives of external sponsoring agencies, the MUSC Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), MUHA/MCP Providers and research staff, MUSC faculty and staff, and MUSC Research Administration staff to ensure smooth operation of grant/contract functions.

Prepares of award modifications/amendments:
Prepares financial reports and grants closeout:
Post-award processing and monitoring of sponsored awards:
Research Center Service/Recharge Center Rates:
Monitor subrecipient and subaward processes.
Manage financial activities:
Support Facilities and Administrative (F&A) Cost Distribution:
