Urgent! Manager - Production Material Control Job Opening In Nashua – Now Hiring BAE Systems
**Job Description**
The Materials Manager will develop, implement, and direct policies, practices, and procedures in accordance with command media.
The Materials Manager will constantly review the staff for continuous employee growth and is responsible for succession planning.
The Material Manager will drive continuous improvement within the function.
The Materials Manager will lead and manage a team of Material Production Control professionals at various experience levels, develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers.
The Materials Manager is an escalation point and may facilitate coordination with other supply chain functions such as Procurement, Subcontracts, Logistics, etc.
Material Manager will assist in planning, developing, and executing corporate training and organizational development plan for Material Production Control personnel.
Other people manager responsibilities include but are not limited to: assessing staffing levels, hiring, terminating, coaching, disciplining and leading a diverse set of employees.
The Materials Manager will lead, develop, and implement material control strategies for the programs, product lines, and function.
This candidate will network with management and team members across the enterprise to drive success.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills
+ Understanding of the role of Material Production Control in complex industries.
+ Ability to prioritize departmental activities set effective (SMART) goals and objectives in line with overall corporate strategy.
+ Financial Acumen
+ Proven leadership and organizational change experience:
+ Ability to motivate and manage personnel.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication
+ Excellent time management/organizational skills
+ Strategic/Critical Thinking
+ Ability to find win-win solutions; a make it happen attitude.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
+ Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems
+ Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
+ Sales & Operations Experience / knowledge
+ Create presentation materials and give presentations to leadership team, production team, and customers
+ Ability to forge positive relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of management and with all departments.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
Preferred Skills and Education
+ Higher level education completed or in process.
+ APICS or ISM certified
+ Ability to implement Lean & Six Sigma process improvements
+ Willingness and desire for continuous improvement, showing initiative by undertaking self-development activities, seeking increased responsibilities, and taking advantage of learning opportunities
+ Well versed with Oracle ERP system
+ Root Cause/Corrective Action Skills
+ Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in two or more of the following: Material Planning, Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management, Rough Cut Capacity Planning, or Production Planning
+ Experience in a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment
Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $99410 - $168997
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
