Your New Role:
The Manager, Production Network Platform is responsible for leading the network engineering team across strategic, tactical, and continuous improvement efforts for mission-critical network platforms.
This role is vital to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of network infrastructure supporting live media production, broadcast operations, and content delivery across studio, remote, and event-based environments.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in broadcast/media network architectures, strong operational discipline, and a forward-thinking approach to emerging technologies in both live production and campus-scale fabric networking.
● Lead and mentor a team of engineers supporting high-availability, high-performance network platforms critical to live and recorded media production workflows
● Manage large-scale, multi-site campus fabric networks, utilizing technologies such as EVPN-VXLAN, spine-leaf topologies, and segment routing to support dynamic, high-bandwidth media workflows
● Ensure real-time monitoring and rapid incident response for live event networking, including redundant pathing, failover, QoS, and multicast traffic management
● Work closely with media infrastructure and cloud teams to support hybrid workflows, including IP-based contribution/distribution, remote production (REMI), and cloud-based playout or editing systems
● Participate in a management on-call rotation, providing after-hours support for production-critical systems and live event coverage, ensuring rapid response to incidents that could impact broadcast operations
● Lead or contribute to major incident response efforts, coordinating cross-functional teams during outages or performance degradations to ensure timely resolution and communication
