Manufacturing & Product Development Engineer

We're looking for a Manufacturing & Product Development Engineer who is passionate about bringing cutting-edge designs to life.
In this role, you'll be a key player in transitioning new products from R&D into full production while enhancing the manufacturability of existing designs.
You'll collaborate closely with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and support staff to optimize processes, design tooling and fixtures, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Our projects range from low-rate, high-precision assemblies for military and aerospace applications to high-volume commercial-sector products, giving you the chance to work across a diverse set of challenges.

Key Responsibilities
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to both new and existing products.
Collaborate with design engineers to identify critical-to-function features and optimize manufacturability.
Process and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to address production challenges.
Plan, design, and roll out manufacturing and assembly processes for new product launches.
Develop and design production tooling, jigs, and fixtures to ensure quality and efficiency.
Write assembly instructions and manufacturing travelers to support production teams.
Provide hands-on support in setting up and scaling new product lines.
What We're Looking For
Required:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (minimum GPA 3.3)
U.S. Citizenship (due to ITAR requirements)
Strong background in Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation
Preferred Experience:
Design of production tooling/fixtures
Knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal forming, molding, tube fabrication, and other manufacturing processes
Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T, ASME Y14.5)
Experience launching or supporting new product lines
