Job Description
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will lead investigations into manufacturing production quality issues, including nonconformances, line failures, and yield losses, to identify root causes and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

You will work cross-functionally with different teams to develop and maintain robust process controls that improve yield, reduce scrap/rework, and enhance product reliability.
Responsibilities

+ Lead investigations into manufacturing production quality issues to identify root causes and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

+ Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop and maintain process controls that improve yield and reduce scrap/rework.

+ Develop, validate, and sustain in-process inspection methods, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.

+ Establish and maintain statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and gage repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) studies.

+ Drive structured problem-solving activities using tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram, Eight Disciplines (8D), and DMAIC.

+ Assist Manufacturing Engineers with control plan and process validations including IQ, OQ, and PQ.

+ Participate in risk management activities.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in manufacturing engineering and quality engineering.

+ Proficiency in root cause analysis and CAPA in a regulated environment.

+ Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.

+ Experience with internal investigations and CAPAs.

+ Background in quality-focused manufacturing engineering.

+ Skills in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Certification in Lean Six Sigma.

+ Familiarity with 5 Whys methodology.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $71000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
