Job Title: Marketing Automation Specialist

About the Role
We’re seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to support the digital marketing team in executing and optimizing campaigns across the customer lifecycle.
This role works closely with marketing leadership to deliver best-in-class automation programs that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day email marketing projects including segmentation, testing, and deployment.
Identify opportunities to transition one-off emails into automated campaigns.

Analyze email performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.

Own the email build process, including coding, quality assurance (QA), and testing.

Assist in configuring and optimizing automated marketing workflows, including triggers, nurtures, and drip campaigns.

Maintain integrations with CRM, CDP, and data platforms.
Conduct data audits and manage segmentation and list hygiene.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
2–4 years of B2B marketing experience
2–4 years of experience in a regulated or complex industry (., financial services, healthcare, technology)
1+ year of project management experience
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work
Required Skills
Experience with Oracle Eloqua or other marketing automation platforms (., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Experience building and sending batch (one-off) email campaigns
Proficiency in HTML for email creation
Experience using email testing tools (., Litmus)
Strong QA and attention to detail in email builds
Experience with audience segmentation
Ability to report on and analyze email performance metrics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Preferred Qualifications
Experience troubleshooting data integrations within a marketing automation platform
Experience building and optimizing nurture campaigns
Project management tool experience (., Adobe Workfront, Asana, Jira)
Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or HubSpot
Knowledge of mobile-first email design principles
Understanding of email compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA)
Basic knowledge of marketing analytics and campaign strategy
Exposure to inbound, outbound, and customer lifecycle marketing strategies
