Material Coordinator/Inventory & Parts Associate

Job description

Job Title: Material Coordinator/Inventory & Parts Associate
Location: York, PA
Type: Contract
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7am - 3pm
Essential Job Duties:
+ Receive and count incoming parts
+ Stock parts and maintain accurate inventory counts
+ Complete physical inventory as required
+ Unpackage and crate parts and materials
+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and power ride equipment
+ Sweep and maintain shop environment
+ Receive, store, and issue commodities, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies
+ Prepare, load, and unload a variety of parts, attachments, and tractors onto semi-trailers
+ Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
+ Equivalent knowledge and experience in storekeeping methods and procedures, office routines, report compilation, and data entry
+ Ability to recognize and identify various parts and sub-assemblies by appearance
+ Ability to read receiving slips, shop orders, returned goods authorizations, purchase orders, and rework orders
+ Strong attention to detail in checking, counting, identifying, recording, reporting, and verifying inventory
+ Valid forklift operator’s license with demonstrated fork truck operation experience
