**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking dedicated Material Handlers to join our team, with opportunities available on both the 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Material Handlers will be allocated to either the sheet metal bay or the bar bay depending on current operational needs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Complete 2–3 weeks of safety and certification training, followed by 3–4 weeks of hands-on forklift and procedural training
+ Operate forklifts (high reach, side loader, sit-down) and overhead cranes
+ Handle order picking, material movement, truck loading, and metal banding
+ Lift up to 55 lbs; use team lifts or equipment for heavier items
+ Maintain safety standards and support team operations
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up/side loader forklifts, and overhead cranes.
+ Proven ability in material handling, order pulling, and banding.
+ Strong focus on accountability, safety, and teamwork.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Saw operation and metal working skills such as deburring and grinding are advantageous.
+ Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and equipment.

**Work Environment**
Work in a newly expanded, 197,000 sq.
ft.
facility with modern equipment—95% of machinery is less than a year old.
The space is bright, clean, and efficient.
+ 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 3 PM–11:30 PM
+ 3rd Shift: Sun–Thurs, 11 PM–7:30 AM
+ Additional hours may be required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hellam, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
