**ABOUT THE ROLE:**

As a Material Science and Material Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in materials science to develop and advance materials that are integral to our products.

You will work at the intersection of science and engineering to drive innovation, improve performance, and contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our materials development initiatives and drive our competitive advantage.

With your expertise in materials engineering, you will contribute to the success of our diverse and innovative team.

In this role, you will impact the development and testing of advanced materials to meet the specific requirements of our products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, product development, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of materials into our products.

You will conduct research and analysis to identify novel materials, processing techniques, and technologies for future applications.

Additionally, you will develop and maintain relationships with external material suppliers, research institutions, and industry experts.

Your expertise will be crucial in implementing and managing materials testing and characterization, ensuring materials meet performance and quality standards.

You will also stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and materials in the field, and recommend their incorporation into product development.

**Location:** This position is available in multiple locations across the United States.

_The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications._

The annual base salary range for this position is $68,000/yr - $126,500/yr.

Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.

Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

**MINIMUM** **QUALIFICATIONS: **

+ Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Materials Engineering or similar field.
+ Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between August 2025 and May 2026 and be available to begin full-time work between September 2025- July 2026
+ Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the date of hire
