Job description

Job Overview:
Search Solution Group is seeking a Media Buyer on behalf of our client, a company that delivers marketing, sales, and technology solutions for the direct-to-consumer insurance industry.

The Media Buyer will play a critical role in planning, negotiating, and optimizing campaigns across CTV and programmatic platforms, helping drive lead generation and business growth.

This role requires strong analytical skills, industry expertise, and the ability to deliver measurable results that support marketing and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, buy, maintain, and monitor CTV media campaigns.
  • Research and identify optimal CTV platforms and strategies based on target audiences and campaign objectives.
  • Prepare and present media plans, quarterly reviews, and test proposals to leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to align campaigns across other media channels.
  • Track and analyze campaign data including impressions, CTR, engagement, and conversions.
  • Report results and provide actionable insights, findings, and recommendations to marketing and business teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with CTV publishers and networks.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new platforms, and technologies in the CTV space.
  • Train and mentor media team members on CTV best practices.
Requirements include:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CTV and digital media buying.
  • Proven success managing lead generation campaigns with a focus on optimizing CPL and ROAS.
  • CTV marketing experience in insurance, healthcare, or financial services preferred.
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of CTV and programmatic platforms; linear TV media buying is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver clear recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, DV360, and DSP platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications:
  • None required; relevant media buying or analytics certifications are a plus.
Knowledge:
  • Expertise in attribution models and an understanding of the halo impact of marketing channels.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CTV media strategies and performance metrics.
