**UW MEDICINE IT SERVICES** has an outstanding job opportunity for a **Medical Device Integration Analyst 1** .
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ 100% FTE – 40 hours per week
+ Day Shift – UW MEDICINE ITS SERVICES CORE HOURS ARE 08:00 – 17:00 (PST), Monday-Friday
+ Position requires participation in off-hours, on-call support rotation
**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**
**UW Medicine IT Services (ITS)** is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine.
UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW).
ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ **HYBRID opportunity (minimum of two days a week onsite)**

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Performing standard to intermediate level programming in the development and implementation of Medical Device Integrations with Capsule SmartLinx and patient monitoring devices including Phillips, Spacelabs, and OBIX
+ Implementing and supporting standard to intermediate level medical device integrations
+ Ensuring integrity of data and minimizing disruption to customers
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
+ **Capsule Tech certification desired**
+ **Epic Bridges certification desired**
+ 3+ years’ experience of recent IT experience must include the below
+ Demonstrated experience providing EHR application maintenance/support and configuration as it relates to medical device data
+ Exposure to major electronic health record system with an understanding of hospital/clinic workflows such as scheduling/Reg/ADT, Orders of ancillary systems, and patient care
+ Exposure to successful systems analysis and/or programming on mission-critical, clinical information systems
+ Experience working within a formal project management methodology
+ Familiar HL7 standard version 2.x, TCP/IP, and serial communications
+ Basic knowledge of database structures and administration, programming languages, networked environment, TCP/IP network protocol, Windows workstations and servers, Microsoft Office, and the internet
+ Basic knowledge of translating business needs into technology requirements
+ Basic knowledge of conducting research into software solutions and products independently
+ Proficiency with desktop computers and Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Visio and Project applications
+ Familiar with multiple operating systems and hardware platforms, and their integration into various applications and equipment
