Your work will help transform lives while also providing career development opportunities for you! Hourly rates from $16.00 - $24.78 per hour based on education and relevant experience + generous additional pay of $2.00 to $4.00 per hour depending on the day and shift - see below for shift details

  • Do you have the insight, patience and compassion that drive you to connect to teens who are suffering with low self-esteem, sadness, anger and grief?

  • PRN/As needed status w/schedule flexibility (AM shift 6am-2pm, PM shift 2pm-10pm, GRAVE shift 10pm-6am)

  • Your role as a Behavioral Health Tech (BHT/MHT) provides services to our residents through:

    Active Engagement - Assisting with psycho-educational groups, physical activities, therapeutic and scholastic assignments and coaching pro social skills by modeling healthy relationship building skills.

    Empathy and Trauma Informed Care - Compassionate listening and re-directing negativity to ensure the resident feels safe which helps them towards healing past trauma.

    Modeling and Coaching - Working together in a collaborative environment with their peers helps promote pro-social skills and improves their self-esteem.

    Safety and Security - Consistent engagement and supervision of the residents is a priority that will ensure safety and provides much needed routines.

    Qualifications

    Your Qualifications & Skills will include:

  • High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED; Bachelors' degree preferred, but not required, in a human service field or working toward a degree
  • MUST be at least 21 years of age or older to apply
  • MUST be able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen
  • MUST have flexibility with your schedule (choose available shifts to work - no set schedule)

  • Consistency - being a dependable and consistent presence that our residents can count on
