Job Title: **MES Software Developer (.NET, C#, Angular)**

**Position Details:**

**Location: Remote, consultant is required to be within 1–2-hour commutable distance in one of the following Corning office locations to be considered:**

+ **Corning, NY**
+ **Charlotte, NC**
+ **Vineland, NJ**
+ **Phoenix, AZ**
+ **Hemlock, MI**
+ **Hickory, NC**
+ **Blacksburg, VA**
+ **Keller, TX**
+ **Boston, MA**
+ **Work Schedule/Hours: M-F, 8 am - 5 pm - No OT anticipated.**
+ **Interview Process: One Hour Panel Video Interview.**
+ **Possibility of extension, based on demand.**
+ **Travel: Up to 15% travel possible - based on project need.**

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Strategic view and understanding of Siemens Opcenter Execution to lead design and development efforts across Corning.
+ Design, implement, and support manufacturing solutions in accordance with standard Corning IT practices.
+ Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution modeling and development tools including Designer and Portal.
+ Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with various technical capabilities like .Net, JavaScript, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.
+ Engage with internal/external customers to analyze requirements from a business and systems perspective by interpreting business goals and objectives and translating them into technical solutions.
+ Strong understanding of ERP, MES, shop floor controls and how they integrate to provide a complete solution to the plant.
+ Ensure that MES work is completed on schedule and that impacts to manufacturing systems are thoroughly documented and communicated by serving as the MES lead on global projects.
+ Create specifications for developers to use as direction for development.

**Required Skills**

+ Education: BS/MS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related field (minimum required).
+ Experience developing in Siemens Opcenter Execution Designer and Portal.

(2+ years desired).
+ Strong leadership and project management skills.
+ In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in application development.
+ 5+ years’ experience using programming languages such as .NET, C#.
+ Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
+ In-depth knowledge of source code management systems.
+ In-depth knowledge of relational databases.

**Desired Skills:**

+ Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
+ Experience working in a Scrum/Agile team.
+ Strong communication, presentation, organizational, facilitation and negotiation skills (including ability to “translate” between business and technology needs).
+ Proven track record of implementing IT solutions that make meet business demands and are technically sound.
+ Ability to continuously prioritize and multitask efficiently.
+ Ability to influence decisions with critical thinking based upon experience and grasp of the strategic intent of the project.
+ Experience with Angular development

+ Ability to work closely with internal customers around the world to meet customer requirements.

**Pay Transparency:**

+ This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is **$55.76/hour - $74.35/hour** .
+ Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
