CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an MES Software Developer (.NET, C#, ASP.NET).

**Job Title:** MES Software Developer (.NET, C#, ASP.NET)
**Location:** Remote, required to be within 1-2 hour commutable distance in one of the following office locations: Corning, NY, Charlotte, NC, Vineland, NJ, Phoenix, AZ, Hemlock, MI, Hickory, NC, Blacksburg, VA, Keller, TX, Boston, MA
**Pay Rate:** $51.14 - $63.39/hour
**Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm
**Education:** BS in Computer Science/Systems Management/IT-related field (minimum required)
**About the Role:**
Join a long-standing Fortune 500 client to design, develop, and maintain MES applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Web APIs. Integrate MES (Siemens Opcenter Execution) with manufacturing systems, implement messaging technologies, and ensure reliable shop floor communication.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams, troubleshoot, optimize, and support applications in a 24/7 environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and maintain MES applications (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs)
+ Integrate MES with manufacturing systems and equipment
+ Implement messaging technologies (MSMQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
+ Ensure system integration, data consistency, and application performance
+ Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize MES applications
+ Document solutions and provide end-user support/training
+ Participate in on-call support rotation
**Required Qualifications:**
+ BS in Computer Science / IT-related field
+ 5–7+ years’ experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET
+ Full stack development experience
+ Knowledge of messaging technologies and 24/7 manufacturing IT systems
+ Exposure to MES (preferred)
+ Experience with Git/TFS, SQL Server/Oracle, RESTful APIs
**Desired Skills:**
+ Siemens Opcenter Execution (Designer/Portal)
+ Test-Driven Development, CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
+ Agile/Scrum experience
+ Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
