Microsoft Analytics Developer

Job description

**CTG is seeking to fill a Microsoft Analytics Developer position for our client in Houston, TX.**

**Duration:** 11 months

**Duties:**

+ Design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies, including **Power BI** , **Azure Data Factory** , **Azure Synapse** , and **SQL Server** .
+ Build and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure clean, consistent, and timely financial and operational data.
+ Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights for finance and operations teams.
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
+ Configure, enhance, and support **Oracle Fusion Financials** modules, particularly **General Ledger (GL)** and **Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)** .
+ Work with embedded reporting technologies, including **OTBI** and **BI Publisher** , to deliver financial insights.
+ Participate in full lifecycle end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects.
+ Support client-facing initiatives with clear communication and technical expertise.

**Skills:**

+ Strong experience in **Microsoft analytics stack** : Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and SQL Server.
+ Hands-on experience with **FAH and GL interfaces** , including configuration and enhancements.
+ Knowledge of **Oracle Fusion Financials** modules, including reporting and embedded analytics.
+ ETL development and cloud analytics expertise.
+ Familiarity with PL/SQL is a plus.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

**Experience:**

+ Minimum of 2–3 full lifecycle, end-to-end implementation projects in Financials (GL, FAH required).
+ Proven functional understanding of GL and FAH modules and associated processes.
+ Experience in enhancements or implementations involving FAH and General Ledger modules.
+ Client-facing experience preferred.

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
