Boeing's Safety and Airworthiness organization is actively seeking a **Mid-Level** **Data Science Engineer** to join their Regulatory Administration and Airworthiness (RA&A) Team based in **Everett, WA.** In this role, you will be a valued member of the Regulatory Administration - System Oversight Team.

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources
+ Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure high performance and efficiency
+ Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity and reliability
+ Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and workflows
+ Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals from various disciplines (e.g. data scientists and analysts, System Engineers) to achieve project goals
+ Engage in team discussions and brainstorming sessions to drive innovative solutions and enhance project outcomes
+ Foster a positive team dynamic by being a supportive team player and contributing to group efforts

**This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.**

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**

+ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
+ 3+ years of experience as a Data Science Engineer or in a similar role
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R and Java
+ Experience with SQL and Data Warehousing
+ Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow)
+ Experience with cloud technologies, including knowledge of Cloud Foundry and its deployment processes
+ Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance best practices
+ Experience in business intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
+ Experience with CI/CD, Git practices

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**

+ Master’s degree
+ Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and practices
+ Experience with Flask, Django, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML
+ Familiarity with machine learning/AI concepts and tools
+ Knowledge of text analysis

Summary Pay Range: $121,550 – $164,450
