Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Millwork Project Manager to join our team.
This dynamic role will involve managing millwork projects from start to finish, as well as providing accurate cost estimates for new projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork construction, project management, and estimating, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee millwork projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for millwork projects based on drawings, specifications, and client requests.
- Coordinate with designers, architects, and contractors to ensure the design and specifications align with Life Time’s standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all project milestones are met.
- Manage the procurement of specialty materials, ensuring the right materials are sourced and delivered on time.
- Address any project issues, including resolving conflicts, solving problems and adjusting timelines as necessary.
- Conduct site visits to field measure and coordinate with project teams.
- Responds to RFI's concerning Millwork issues.
- Prepares and issues millwork revisions as required for approved changes to project.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of millwork materials, finishes, installation methods, and construction processes.
- Proven experience preparing accurate cost estimates for millwork and custom carpentry projects.
- Exceptional project organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver successful projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Education:
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in millwork, project management, or estimating within the construction industry.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with high-end or custom commercial millwork projects.
- Proficient experience in industry-standard and estimating software; including Procore, Fishbowl, Microsoft Excel, and CAD software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
