The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and driving the growth of our .

West Mining Business Group Leader, West Region Leadership, and the Americas Mining Sector Leader to develop and implement mining business strategies and plans.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: 

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for mining sector clients.
  • Growing and managing relationships with mining clients for the purpose of initiating leads, generating opportunities, developing team strategies, and winning work, while maintaining an appropriate interest in project delivery.
  • Working with client relationship managers, project managers, engineering/science professionals, and marketing pursuit leads to prepare and deliver statements of qualification, technical presentations, and proposals for engineering and scientific service offerings to mining clients.

  • Leading negotiations and closing deals that benefit both customers and GHD.
  • Collaborating with the Mining Business Group Leader, other regional business group leaders, market leaders, and regional leadership to design and implement mining business strategies and plans.
  • Monitoring and evaluating industry trends and customer drivers.
  • Supporting development and implementation of business plans to reach personal and regional goals.
