**Job Description:**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer** to join our team! In this role **you will get to f** **acilitate the modeling, simulation, and analyses of future concepts that shape the future of the Missile Defense System (MDS) and respond to Warfighter needs.**

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Assess MDS threats, capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities to develop potential system mitigations and capability evolutions at the architecture level.
+ Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above, including analysis efforts on DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) system.
+ Develop analysis plans, execute M&S to implement those plans, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products.
+ Facilitate the definition/implementation of future concepts for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
+ Act as a subject matter expert in future concept definition, architecture analyses, and reviewing preliminary results prior to delivery to customer.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Master's Degree in a STEM Field with 12+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
+ Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
+ Deep understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts
+ Experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures
+ Experience with MATLAB

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Active TS/SCI Clearance.
+ Experience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures.
+ Experience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future concepts.
+ Experience with HPC Systems, Python, and Git.
+ Experience with BMD Benchmark.
+ Experience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities.
+ Ability to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologies.
+ Specialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signatures.
+ Proven ability to coauthor numerous reports and provide significant contributions to MDS studies and responses to Congress.
+ Experience serving as a key advisor and collaborating on products that may go outside the Agency, such as DoD, Services, Combatant Commands, industry experts, etc.

**Security Clearance Requirement:**

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $144,800.00 - $260,600.00
