Description
We are seeking a Modeling Engineer Winter/Spring Co-op (January - June) to work with our advanced development team to enable state-of-the-art semiconductor devices for 5G applications.
You will gain real world industrial experience, while contributing to key development projects with a diverse team of experts.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and validate CMOS or bipolar simulation models
+ Design and evaluate device test structures
+ Performance data gathering and statistical analysis
Required Experience and Skills
+ Must be currently enrolled in and working towards a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
+ Must be able to work in Irvine office for 6 month Co-op term (January - June 2026)
Desired Experience and Skills
+ Understanding of basic semiconductor physics
+ Understanding of RF design and measurement
+ Strong analytical and communication skills
+ Familiar with CAD tools including layout and circuit simulation
+ Hands-on RF characterization skill is a plus
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour.
Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
