Your Job

Molex, a Koch Company, is seeking Associate Sales Engineers to join our Global Sales & Marketing team for 2025/2026 in Lisle, Illinois!

If you enjoy developing mutually beneficial relationships as much as solving technical problems, this may be the opportunity for you!This ~12 month program based at our Lisle, IL headquarters will help you develop an understanding of electronic solutions, corporate networking, sales and operations in a global business environment.

Upon completion of the program, candidates must be willing to relocate based on company needs and career alignment.

The Associate Sales Engineer (ASE) team is a collaborative & focused group of early-in-career professionals.

What You Will Do

  • Program includes learning opportunities in: Sales Engineering, Business Development, Product Management, and Marketing
  • Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide guidance on product design and part selection while ensuring optimal solutions and high customer satisfaction.

  • Support lead generation by identifying qualified sales opportunities from customer inquiries and routing them to the appropriate field sales or business development teams
  • Seek opportunities to knowledge share and participate in specialized training programs to deepen product knowledge and refine sales techniques
  • Grow relationships with external and internal business partners, with travel opportunities to develop relationships in-person and learn about Molex’s value-added capabilities in manufacturing
  • Participate in value-add projects; receive extensive product and sales training
  • Serve as a mentor & participate in the selection, onboarding, & training of new hires in the ASE group

    Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled or recently completed a degree or alternative program
  • Must be willing to relocate now or in the near future after successful completion of the program.
  • Eligible for full time employment now or before Summer 2026.
  • What Will Put You Ahead

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Sales Engineering, or related Engineering degree program
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work successfully with cross-discipline teams and build professional relationships.
  • Natural curiosity and motivation for learning and contributing to the team
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills and proactively solve problems.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical requirements effectively in presentation/collaboration.
  • Organizational skills to anticipate, plan and prioritize assigned work.
  • For this role, we anticipate paying $75,000 per year.

    This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
