Position Information Position Title MPC Graduate Teaching Assistant Spring 2026 Requisition Number H01782P Position Category Hourly/Work Study Campus Location Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week 10 to 15 hours per week Months per year 4 Alternate work schedule Pay Grade Salary Hourly Pay Rate $18.00 FLSA Job Summary/Basic Function We are looking to hire a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) at Weber State University enrolled in the Master of Professional Communication.

This is a paid position working an average of 10 to 15 hours per week through the Communication Department’s Master of Professional Communication program.

You must be an MPC student to apply for this position.

The responsibilities of GTAs include assisting in course preparation, co-teaching classes with faculty members, and grading assignments and exams.

In addition, GTAs may also lead discussions and lab sessions.

Preferred Qualifications Completed MPC 6500 Teaching and Training the Adult Learner, ACUE courses, or other teacher-training courses.
