**About the Team**

At Nutanix, you'll be joining the SaaS Engineering team, which, in part is responsible for developing the learning management system, Nutanix University.

Our team is diverse, with members spread across India, San Jose, CA, and Durham, NC, fostering a vibrant and inclusive culture that values collaboration and innovation.

We work in a dynamic environment following Agile methodology, operating in one-month sprints to ensure consistent progress while allowing us to adapt to new challenges and opportunities.

You will report to the Director of Engineering, who is dedicated to providing support and guidance to help the team thrive.

Our work setup is hybrid, requiring employees to come into the office three days a week, which allows for seamless collaboration while still providing flexibility.

**Your Role**

+ Participate in agile sprint processes, including requirement brainstorming and estimations.
+ Design and implement software solutions, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
+ Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to team code assessments.
+ Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their development.
+ Engage in maintenance and production support post-release to ensure product stability.
+ Collaborate effectively with international teams, minimizing time zone challenges.
+ Stay updated on AI and app development trends, contributing innovative ideas to discussions.
+ Document features and processes for release management and improve team efficiency.

**What You Will Bring**

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
+ Hands-on experience in full-stack application development using Node.js.
+ Proficiency in Python for AI/ML pipeline development and model integration.
+ Demonstrated experience working with machine learning models, LLMs, or AI-related projects.
+ Proficiency in web server and application server development.
+ Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js or similar) for frontend development.
+ Proven ability to design scalable software solutions and microservices architecture.
+ Experience working in Agile development environments with sprint-based methodologies.
+ Strong ownership mindset with ability to work independently and take accountability for deliverables.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical discussions and knowledge sharing.
+ Demonstrated mentoring capabilities for guiding junior developers and team members.
+ Proactive attitude with ability to ask thoughtful questions and contribute innovative ideas during technical discussions.

**Work Arrangement**

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration.

For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence.

Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 128,000 and USD $ 255,600 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
