Job DescriptionITTConnect is seeking a Mulesoft Integration Engineer for a direct-hire full time position with a large financial institution.
Position is hybrid: 3x a week onsite
Job location: downtown Miami.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage the Mulesoft platform, including configurations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Design, monitor, and optimize APIs, ensuring best practices in security and governance.
- Implement monitoring solutions and proactively manage system health and performance.
- Work closely with development teams and business stakeholders to support integration needs.
- Document integration processes and maintain operational standards.
- Support incident management and problem resolution related to integrations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT.
- 5+ years of experience in integration development and administration.
- MUST HAVE: experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform administration and development.
- Advanced knowledge of APIs, API management, security best practices, and governance models.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and enterprise integration architecture.
- Experience with monitoring tools and proactive platform health management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Git
- Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Knowledge of infrastructure components, including networking, servers, cloud services, and security protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
Requirements10+ years of IT software development experience 3 plus years’ experience as an Integration Specialist or a similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing application integrations.
In-depth knowledge of integration methodologies, technologies, and tools, including APIs, web services, ETL, and middleware.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Digibee, Informatica) and their capabilities.
Strong understanding of data formats and protocols (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST).
Experience with database systems and SQL.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
Strong analytical and technical documentation skills.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is desirable Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications are a plus.
