Job Title: Mulesoft Platform Engineer II

Job Location: Onsite - Omaha, NE or Newport Beach, CA
Employment Type: Contract - Minimum 6 months 
Pay Rate: $55-65/hr W2

About the Role

We are seeking a Mulesoft Platform Engineer II to join our integrations team.

In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms.

You’ll work within a diverse technology ecosystem, including Salesforce, Snowflake, Master Data Management (MDM), Control-M, and Flowable, to enable seamless data flows and automation across the enrollment lifecycle.

This position offers the opportunity to lead integration strategy, influence architectural standards, and strengthen data connectivity that supports critical business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage APIs and system integrations using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.

  • Define integration standards and frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and resiliency.

  • Collaborate with internal platform teams (Salesforce, Snowflake, Control-M, Flowable) to support real-time and batch integrations.

  • Establish secure, performant connections with third-party platforms to support quoting, billing, and policy intake workflows.

  • Guide integration patterns, support CI/CD practices, and align with enterprise architecture goals.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, logging, monitoring, and governance guidelines.

  • Perform root-cause analysis and performance tuning for high-volume integrations.

  • Partner with developers, QA, architects, and business analysts to deliver enterprise-grade integrations.

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience, including technical leadership.

  • Strong expertise with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, DataWeave).

  • Proven experience integrating with Salesforce, MDM, and Snowflake.

  • Familiarity with Control-M and Flowable for workflow automation.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth2, JWT, and related standards.

  • Experience in Agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in workforce benefits, insurance, or policy enrollment workflows.

  • Experience integrating with EIS Group systems.

  • Ability to lead integration design discussions and translate architecture into execution.

  • Exposure to event-driven or streaming architectures.

  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
