Urgent! Multicraft Maintenance Technician Position in West Memphis - PrideStaff
Position Summary
The role of the Multi-Craft Technician Level I is to perform complex repairs on all plant equipment as well
as provide ongoing maintenance of the facility.
Shift
M-Thu: 3:30PM-1:45PM & Friday: 1pm-5pm
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform duties to maintain and repair a variety of production and plant facility equipment and assist
the Maintenance Manager in ordering parts, supplies and equipment as well as standardize
components and maintain repair inventories.
- Assist in the installation, relocation and reinstallation of new and/or existing equipment.
- Responsible for the repair, adjustments and ongoing maintenance of facilities
- Perform periodic tests or checks on all electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical,
hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Perform regular checks on all building equipment such as pumps, chillers, compressors, and power
systems as required
- Quickly respond to equipment breakdowns, make repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Interacts with and provides guidance to management in determining the best engineering solutions
for efficient production runs
- Practice safe work habits and abide by OSHA regulations along with established safety
policies and procedures.
- Be available for overtime assignments as needed including arriving before shift start and staying
after shift ends
- Ability to aid in advanced changeover tasks
- Responsible for any other special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of previous manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentations
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate in verbal and written form to fellow team
members, team leaders and supervisors
- Ability to assist management with paperwork, meeting production goals, and maintenance
- Ability to demonstrate basic electrical and mechanical skills
- Advanced welding, fabrication and machining abilities
- Apprenticeship towards electrical preferred
- Knowledge/Troubleshooting PLC’s preferred (Siemens/Allen Bradley)
- Must be able to size breakers, wire, motors and starters
- Advanced electrical troubleshooting and problem solving experience
Technical Skills:
- Ability to use power and hand tools and equipment
- Ability to operate and maintain machines and equipment
- Ability to perform advanced level preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
- Ability to make adjustments to machines, equipment, and processes
- Ability to maintain and compile written documents and reports as needed

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
