Our client, a privately held manufacturing company specializing in composite materials, is seeking an NDT Level II Specialist to perform non-destructive testing (ultrasound, magnetic particle, and visual methods) on metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts, and assemblies to detect defects.
This is a direct hire position that includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment; conduct and evaluate tests for acceptance/rejection.
- Perform inspections and dimensional checks, document results, and maintain equipment.
- Provide guidance to trainees and Level I personnel.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to inspection procedure development.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Prior NDT experience; PAUT Level II and PT Level II certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency with GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, communication abilities, and teamwork orientation.
- Must pass vision and color perception tests.
- U.S. Citizenship required, with ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance and meet export control compliance.
- Flexibility for overtime/off-shift work when needed.
