To support our continued innovation, we’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the Fiddler team in Sofia.

This is not a task-taker role—you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your voice, ideas, and expertise throughout the development lifecycle.


In this role, you will:


+ Develop new and innovative features, often requiring creativity, research, and problem-solving to address complex technical challenges.

+ Own full user stories—from backend implementation in .NET to crafting intuitive UI components in Angular.

You’ll see your work come to life across the entire stack.

+ Collaborate with product managers and designers early in the process, helping shape the user experience and ensuring features are both functional and delightful.

+ Follow secure coding practices, including regular security scans, updates, threat modeling, and adherence to industry standards.

+ Learn and grow through collaboration with experienced engineers—both within the Fiddler team and across Progress.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to expand your technical and interpersonal skills.

+ Investigate and resolve issues reported by QA or customers, gaining valuable insights into how users interact with the product.

+ Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to provide high-quality, maintainable code.

+ Leverage AI tools and contribute to our AI-driven initiatives aimed at boosting developer productivity and enhancing product capabilities.

+ Work in an agile environment, following two-week sprints and frequent release cycles that keep the team focused and flexible.

+ Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement.


About you:


+ Solid experience with .NET (C#)

+ Solid JavaScript knowledge

+ Solid experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks (preferably Angular)

+ Solid experience with version control systems (preferably Git) and peer code reviews

+ Fluent English – both verbal and written

+ Smart, friendly team player, and you enjoy working with others to pursue a common goal

+ Familiar with Object Oriented Design and Architecture, as well as Design patterns

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:


+ Experience with research and solving tough challenges

+ Experience with process improvements in the team/company – what was not working well, and you took the opportunity to resolve it.

+ Experience with different operating systems – macOS, Windows and Linux.

+ Knowledge of network protocols

+ Interest or experience in AI technologies.

Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot.

+ Experience with AWS

+ Bachelor/Master’s degree in computer science or related area
