We are seeking a **Network Engineer 4** to join our **Security and Electronic Systems (SES)** business Unit.

As part of **(SES)** Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

+ Ensuresmoothshifttransitionsthroughdocumentedpassdownbriefings.

+ MonitorandenforceadherencetoStandardOperatingProcedures(SOPs)andrecommend process improvements.

+ Workdirectlywithvendorsandarchitectsforhigh-levelissue resolution.

+ Supporttwo-shiftcoverageforcontinuousmonitoringandoperations.

+ Meetwithcustomerstocapturespecificrequirementsandsupporttechnicalstrategies.

+ Assistininfrastructuredesignanddeploymentactivities.

+ Delivertechnicalpresentationsanddevelopdocumentationforcustomersystems.

+ ConfigurenetworkdevicesviaCLI,deploypatches,andoptimizeLayer2/3protocols.

+ Integratecloudtechnologies(e.g.,ExpressRoute,AzureVirtualNetworks)withon-prem infrastructure.

+ Managenetworksecurityandtrafficacrosstheenvironmentusingadvancedmethodologies.

+ SupportWAN/InternettransportandroutingtechnologiessuchasBGP,MPLS,andSD-WAN (Juniper preferred).

+ ApplyexpertiseinLayer1-3technologiesandcloudorchestrationtools.

Qualifications

**Clearance/Citizen Type:** Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information.

**ACTIVE TS/SCI is REQUIRED**

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline 7+ years Progressive Experience
+ Technical Skills:
+ Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) concepts.
+ Moderate understanding of security issues and implications for network solutions.
+ Moderate knowledge of network concepts, technologies, tools and philosophies, and the ability to design an organization's network infrastructure and services.
+ Moderate knowledge of system development methodology, project management, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills.

**Communication Skills:**

+ Strong oral, technical writing, and presentation skills
+ Ability to build productive relationships with team members, clients and other network/system stakeholders.
+ Ability to establish working relationships with others outside area of expertise.

**Behavioral Skills:**

+ Must be able to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures and demanding environment.
+ Must be a resourceful self-starter, flexible, pro-active, solution-oriented and customer-oriented.

**Recommended Experience and Certifications:**

+ Experience in reading network and connectivity schematics and plans
+ Experience in reading network installation schematics and plans
+ Experience in network system startup, configuration, and calibration
+ Experience in testing and troubleshooting
+ Experience using basic electrical and machinist hand tools
+ Experience using testing, calibration, or industry-specific tools and software (spectrum analyzer, cable tester, Alignment tool) Tools/Software
+ Experience in computer networks
+ Experience with ticketing and monitoring toolset.
+ Experience in one or more IT/Network platforms, such as: Cisco, AllenBradley, Juniper, PaloAlto, NetGear, etc.
+ Experience in one or more network related hardware and software.
+ Standard Network Software (Visio, Wireshark, Putty, CLI, etc)
+ ITIL 4 Foundation
+ Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
+ Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
+ VMware Certified Technical Associate
+ CompTIA Security+ CompTIA Network+ CompTIA A+ Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
+ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
+ Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
+ Formal SharePoint Certifications or demonstrated experience
