Script to Screen: Introduction to the Entertainment IndustryIntroduction to Production Office: Production Coordinating and ManagementIntroduction to Production Accounting for Film and TelevisionIntroduction to Location ManagementIntroduction to Set Construction, Scenic Painting, and Set DressingIntroduction to Hair and Makeup for Film and TelevisionIntroduction to Set Lighting and the Electric DepartmentCostuming for Film and TelevisionGrip and Rigging for Film and TelevisionImportant: Please note that a non-credit instructor is not an adjunct position.
Successful candidates teach courses in the Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts (or significant relevant industry experience)Academic and/or practical experience in an art discipline relating to Film and TelevisionPrevious teaching experienceExperience teaching adult learnersAbility to teach evenings, weekends, or days in Edison, New Brunswick, or Perth Amboy PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Fine ArtsTeaching and/or experience in the field preferredExperience teaching in higher education SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
