Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will perform nondestructive inspection of castings, forgings, machined parts, metal cladding, airframe and engine assemblies, non-metallic materials, and other ferrous and non ferrous metals using NDI test equipment and measuring instruments.
  • You will perform traditional nondestructive inspection using chemicals that are applicable to the total range on nondestructive examination methods.
  • You will calibrate and operate traditional test equipment according to specifications.
  • You will inspect parts for flaws or defects, anomalies in patterns, interpret indications, and document flaws or defects in material and prepare reports on defective parts.
