Job description

The Pacific Movement Disorders Center at Providence Little Company of Mary in Torrance is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to be an integral member of our program.
We are an advanced care center of excellence in movement disorders that provides neurological and neurosurgical care to patients with Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonism, tremor and other movement disorders.
Under director of the physician, job duties may include:
+ See patients in clinic follow up and perform neurological exams in conjunction with our movement disorders neurologist.
+ Be a bridge between our neurology and neurosurgical program and perform clinical testing during intra-op DBS surgery or MRI focused ultrasound procedures.
+ Perform typical practice procedures such as DBS programming, diagnostic skin biopsy, infusion therapy management, and botulinum toxin reconstitution and management.

(Candidate will be trained and mentored if no prior experience).
+ Oversee the scheduling of patients and help in the general management of inbox queries, refills, referrals, prior authorizations and needed patient related paperwork.
+ Participate in patient and caregiver education and support programs.
+ Attend and contribute at team meetings.
+ Be a part of any ongoing clinical research trials (will train if needed)
+ Other related duties as assigned by the team physicians and management
**Position Details:**
+ Monday to Friday position with no call and no weekends
+ 100% outpatient care
+ Neurology or subspecialty movement disorder experience a plus but not required
+ EPIC experience is a plus
+ Compensation is between $165,595 and $235,677 per year _The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position.

In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them._
